Quantum physics is a mystery. It contradicts human experience. It challenges cognitive capabilities. It shatters mental imagination. Even mathematics can hardly explain its weird behavior. Nevertheless, commercial quantum computers are within reach within this decade. Regardless of proliferation, the increasing presence of quantum computer technology will serve a surprising new purpose. There are several instances throughout history where the advent of a new technology brought unprecedented metaphors to life. These were put to use in explaining previously poorly understood phenomena (e.g. "brains are hardware, thoughts are software"). Quantum technologies will give birth to three new metaphors: quantum superpositions, entanglements, and interferences. These metaphors might help to create new research instruments to shed light on the nature of organizational cultures, processes of decision-making, and efficient leadership.
