A Quantum Leap for Biodiversity

This science challenge aims to find a) scalable, revolutionary technologies to halt and reverse biodiversity loss and its impact on nature, climate and communities, and b) novel financial mechanisms and self-sustaining business models to unlock transformative capital for conservation and restoration. During this event, six successful projects driven by Lindau Alumni and Young Scientists will present their work to an exclusive group of investors and philanthropists.

  • Nicole Foster – Scaling blue carbon ecosystem restoration through Indigenous-led holistic business models and SDG-linked Natural Capital markets
  • Nader Marzban – Artificial Peat Technology for Peatland Protection and Soil Biodiversity Restoration
