Abstract

They are distinct from all other elementary particles by being electrically neutral. This makes them extremely penetrating and hence their detection very difficult. Their properties sofar discovered will be explained and the anticipated future developements of the neutrino physics as well as the neutrino astrophysics will be discussed.
