Mapping the Universe in Space and Time
Abstract: Using advanced technology we have made great progress in mapping the Universe across very great distances and through many epochs in time.
This talk will show the data acquired and published to date and discuss what improvements we might anticipate in the relatively near (by the next Noble Physics Laureates meeting at Lindau) term. These observations tell us more than just their importance as a map as they provide evidence on what possible models and parameters may correctly describe our universe.
Nevertheless the progress is breathtaking.
